The meeting commenced with an opening remark by the Chair, which is summarised thus as: thanked the participants for their participation throughout the update process; asked for patience as the plenary had taken a long time due to the virtual process, and also given the questions and clarifications being brought up by participants.

After a round of introduction, each state presented a progress report, while the meeting ended with two action points: 1) Mapping support will be needed from CILSS for Borno, Kano, Adamawa, and Yobe. 2)Each state should review the fiche of communication.
