During April 2021, the sector partners have assisted around 515,882 individuals with Agricultural Livelihoods Interventions in the three most affected North-East states. Targeting and registration of potential beneficiaries for the 2021 rainy season farming support are ongoing across BAY states. The sector facilitated the coordination of agriculture inputs planning to avoid overcrowding and ensuring the suitable areas with relative access to land are prioritized. As at the end of April, 157,000 households have been targeted for rain season input support.

Advocacy for increased access to fertilizer also continues with various stakeholders including Office of National Security, Military and Ministries of Agriculture in the various states.
