In September 2022, Sector partners assisted 2,069,417 people with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified remains in Adamawa State (87%), followed by Yobe State (46%), and Borno State (33%). This implies significant food assistance gaps in BAY states. The food assistance gap in the BAY states is 1.9 million people.
