In August 2022, Sector partners assisted 2,238,022 people with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified remains in Adamawa State (88%), followed by Yobe State (43%), and Borno State (26%). This implies significant food assistance gaps in BAY states. The food assistance gap in the BAY states is 1.9 million people.
