During the reporting period of February 2019, a total of 1,555,081 unique people were supported with food security interventions in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa states, 1.4 million of which were supported with food assistance and around 121,000 were with agriculture and livelihood assistance. Among them, around 5,210 individuals received both forms of assistance. Sixty-one (61) percent of the February-cycle food assistance was provided by partners in January 2019 as a preparatory measure to mitigate against any security incidents during the election period.
