Humanitarian Situation Monitoring (HSM) Advocay in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe States (BAY)

Preamble
•The Task Force on Humanitarian Situation Monitoring (HSM) for inaccessible and hard-to-reach areas of Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe (BAY) States which provides ample valid data and information for the Cadre Harmonise (CH) analysis recently updated her monitoring tool. This was necessitated by time factors and operational adjustments. While validating the tool, the Task Force identified some hard-to-reach areas of the BAY States that are presently not covered by any partner in terms of collection of data from new arrivals.
•The HSM Task Force therefore, resolved to embark on an advocacy mission to these three states to sensitize potential partners on the essence of humanitarian situation monitoring of hard-to-reach areas, with a view to eliciting their commitment to support the coverage of any or some of these identified gaps. The mission is targeted at State Agencies, NGOs, and other related organizations.
•The aim of this mission is to expand the coverage and hence, the sample base of the data from the hard-to-reach areas, thereby making it more robust and relevant to CH analysis.
