In April 2023, Sector partners assisted 1.9 million people with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified is in Adamawa State (89 percent), followed by Borno State (71 percent), and Yobe State (32 percent) according to their respective people in need of assistance. The food assistance gap in the BAY states is 2.4 million people.
