Preparedness and Resilience Working Group (Closed)

The Preparedness and Resilience Working Group (PRWG) aims to guide and support in-country Food Security Cluster on necessary preparedness and resilience-building activities through the Humanitarian Programme Cycle (HPC). Preparedness as well as contingency planning and capacity stremgthening are core functions of a cluster, in situations where there is a high risk of recurring or significant new disaster, and where sufficient capacity exists within the cluster (see IASC Reference Module for Cluster Coordination). The members of the PRWG support FSC in operationalising guidance and tools on preparedness and resilience relevant to food security.
