The purpose of the global Food Security Cluster (gFSC) Agriculture WG (AWG) is to ensure a platform for members to discuss about agriculture response in humanitarian crisis, advocate for agriculture needs in major crisis, share technical guidelines and standards to improve the quality and timeliness of Agriculture responses with final goal of ensuring food security to the population in need.
The Agriculture Working Group's main objectives are:
- To undertake knowledge management, dissemination of technical standards and guidelines, promote best practices of agriculture in emergency, learning and innovation
- To provide technical support to FSC global members, Coordinators in the field and generally o all Food Security cluster stakeholders
