Food Security Sector SO1 Gap Analysis – February 2021

During February 2021, Sector partners assisted around 1.7 million individuals with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified remains in Borno State, followed by Yobe State and Borno State.

The Sector in coordination with the Cadre Harmonize (CH) state focal points and led by the State-Level sector leads from the Ministry of Agriculture disseminated the results of the October 2020 CH results with the advocacy of scaling-up food security assistance given the significantly worsening food insecurity and strengthening the CH support at state level.
