Partners in Borno State assisted a total number of 2.2 million people during December 2019, with around 422,000 in Yobe State and 173,000 in Adamawa State. Food assistance wise, the reduced caseloads in Damboa, Dikwa, and Gwoza LGAs in Borno State as well as zero coverage in Madagali LGA in Adamawa State during the month was due to logistics/access challenges experienced by key partners. The distribution was ongoing, and the beneficiaries affected by the delay would receive their monthly rations for December 2019 in early January 2020.
