RESPONSE TO FOOD INSECURITY 
> Provision of food assistance to 1.6 million people in need in Nigeria – 200K in the Northwest
> Prevention and Treatment of Malnutrition in Sokoto and Zamfara
> Building resilience and strengthening livelihood – 24K employment opportunities along the  Agric value chain
> Support 7,000 smallholder farmers with improved seeds of sorghum and millet. 
> Strengthening Government Systems and Programmes, and Policy coherence – Social Protection, School Feeding 


INVESTMENTS IN THE LOCAL ECONOMY
> Boosting food supply chain from the demand side – USD 200K investment in 2023
Working with local business enterprises - over 300 retailers, 
> 95% of annual food assistance requirements are purchased from Nigerian farmers


PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND OTHER UN AGENCIES  
> Engagement with the Government on “Food Systems Transformation”  to develop Nigerian food systems, including on the distribution of seeds and fertilizers
> Support to the Government on policy in social protection, school feeding, nutrition, food fortification, and more
