Humanitarian partners estimate that about 14.3 million people–30 per cent of the population of Sudan–will need humanitarian assistance in 2022. This is an increase of 800,000 people compared to 2021, which is the highest in a decade. The majority of people in need of assistance are vulnerable residents.
