Addressing the seed security of disaster-affected  households  through  relief  operations  is  a  frequent  response undertaken  by  national  governments,  UN  organizations  and  NGOs  to  facilitate their recovery.

SEADS Standards: Expected October 2022.  The Standards for Supporting Crop-related Livelihoods in Emergencies (SEADS) will enable those responding to humanitarian crises to design, implement, and evaluate responses that maintain and strengthen the livelihoods of farming communities, support preparedness and post-emergency recovery, and increase their resiliency.
