As of December 2018, the sector partners have assisted almost 2.2 million individuals with agriculture and livelihood interventions in the three most affected north-east states of Nigeria since the beginning of 2018. This is a 15.8% increase in people reached compared to the previous month (1.9 million). The largest gap identified is in Yobe State, followed by Adamawa State, and Borno State. The dry season agriculture campaign is ongoing, and with ongoing advocacy efforts with the government at various levels, partners have eventually obtained security clearance for fertilizer movement and distribution.
