In October 2022, Sector partners assisted 1.7million people with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified remains in Adamawa State (93%), followed by Yobe State (71%), and Borno State (34%) according to their respective people in need of assistance. This implies significant food assistance gaps in BAY states. The food assistance gap in the BAY states is 2.4 million people.
