During May 2022, Sector partners assisted about 1,171,025 people with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified remains in Borno State, followed by Yobe State, and Adamawa State. This implies significant food assistance gaps in BAY states. The food assistance gaps in the BAY states is about 2.9 million people.
