Food Security Sector SO1 Gap Analysis – October 2020

During October 2020, Sector partners assisted around 1.7 million individuals with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) out of the 3.4 million targeted in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The gap is 1,686,282 with the largest gap identified remains in Adamawa State, followed by Yobe State and Borno State.

Partners also continue to face access challenges (insecurity and bad roads) and delays in food dispatches due to procurement challenges as a result of challenges with food availability.
