Partners in Borno State assisted a total number of 1.3 million people during January 2020, with around 181,000 in Yobe State and 47,000 in Adamawa State. Partners continued with dry season farming activities and plan for the upcoming rainy season agriculture campaign. Limited understanding of the food security, nutrition and livelihood situation in inaccessible areas remains a challenge for all stakeholders. To contribute to better analysis, the Sector's Inaccessible Area Taskforce is planning to conduct data collection targeting new arrivals from inaccessible areas arriving in reception centres and/or camps in field locations in February.
