During the reporting period of October 2018, a total of 3,178,753 unique people were supported with food security interventions in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states, 1.4 million of which were supported with food assistance and 1.8 million were with agriculture and livelihood assistance. Among them, a total of 427,135 individuals received both forms of assistance in September including twin-track food/seed assistance during 2018 rainy season. Partners continue to scale up interventions to improve safe access to fuel and energy (SAFE) activities, including supporting local production of fuel-efficient stoves and following distribution and SAFE training.
