Food Security Sector Dashboard - July2020

During July 2020, a about 3.1 million people were supported with Food Security Interventions in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa States. About 1.4 million of them were supported with Emergency Food Assistance, and 1.7 million Agricultural Livelihoods Support. Due to COVID 19 pandemic and related effects, an additional about 600,000 people are food insecure in the BAY states, according to Cadre Harmonisé (CH) Update conducted in June 2020. This brings the total number of people in need from 3.7 to 4.3 million. Key effects of the pandemic include disruptions in the market functionality and livelihood activities.
