Food Security Sector Cash Dashboard - June 2022

In June 2022, the Food Security Sector assisted 1,285,871 individuals with food assistance (SO1) and 405,873 individuals for agriculture & livelihoods (SO2), of whom 57% (729,766) and 8% (34,160) received support through Cash Voucher Assistance (CVA) for SO1 and SO2 respectively.  Twenty organizations, includes national, international NGOs and UN agencies, used different transfer delivery mechanisms, such as cash in hand, mobile money transfers, paper vouchers, and electronic vouchers.

In terms of the caseloads, Borno state hosted the highest caseload, approximately 89% of the CVA beneficiaries, compared to 9% and 2% in Yobe and Adamawa states, respectively.

Partners implementing emergency food assistance through CVA continue including the provision of additional 2,000 Naira to beneficiaries for safe access to fuel and energy as part of the food basket.
