2019 Food Security Component of the Global Humanitarian Overview (Jan/Dec 2019)

In 2019 the Food Security Cluster represented 130 million people in need globally. The Food Security Component was the largest percentage (37%) of the Global FUnding Requirement with 8.1 billion required, 5.1 billion were received (according to OCHA FTS report). 

The Food Security Cluster was active in 33 countries (January to December 2019), 84 million people were targeted and 74.7 million peple were assisted.
