During December 2020, a about 4.2 million people were supported with Food Security Interventions in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa States. About 2.1 million of them were supported with Emergency Food Assistance, and 2.1 million Agricultural Livelihoods Support.
The Sector continues to advocate to partners implementing food assistance through Cash Voucher Assistance (CVA) to include 2,000 Naira for cooking fuel per month per household in addition to the food basket transfer value.
In preparation for the dry season farming, partners have initiated targeting of locations and households for this activity.
