In July 2022, Sector partners assisted 1,618,462 people with food assistance (through in-kind or CVA) in the three most affected North-East states of Nigeria. The largest gap identified remains in Adamawa State (92%), followed by Yobe State (60%), and Borno State (45%). This implies significant food assistance gaps in BAY states. The food assistance gap in the BAY states is 2.5 million people.
