Highlights
- Thanks to all partners who shared data and took part in the harmonization task force on 26th March 2024
- The agreed 100% cost of food SMEB for MMC/Jere is 15,988 Naira per capita (March 2024). It was also agreed to include a 10% to cover for projected inflation, bringing the new value of the 100% cost of food SMEB to 17,587 Naira per capita.
- The harmonization Taskforce recommends a transfer value covering 65% of the inflation-adjusted cost of food SMEB
above, implying a new Transfer value of 11,432 Naira per capita - The recommended new Transfer value would take effect 1st June 2024 to cover the 2024 lean season
