The retreat and training provided the opportunity to reflect altogether on the role and functions of the Information Management Officer of the Food Security Cluster, and to share knowledge on how to carry out these functions in the most efficient and effective way. Sessions were organized using the following formats:
- Plenary presentation of the gFSC, followed by Q&A and discussion in plenary;
- Group discussions to share field challenges, best practices, solutions and priority support needs;
- Simulation exercises (for the training sessions) in small groups of max 3 people.
