Humanitarian system is failing to comply with needs in shock affected areas. Low funding push clusters in prioritizing humanitarian needs but we are unable to reach most vulnerable with complete package of assistance. Scope and boundary setting will reduce numbers for humanitarians but who will take care of those needs is not clear. We need to establish a case for humanitarian and development partners to work together in addressing unmet food security needs.
In this session we will present;
- A quick reflection on 2024 FSC response with the trends in needs, targets vs funding
- A couple of country cases on unmet needs
- Reflection on what FSC is doing to bridge gap between humanitarian and development
