The Light Guidance on Advancing the HDPN Approach through the Food Security Cluster (attached) has been developed to support the implementation of the HDPN pillar of the 2023 – 2025 FSC Strategic Plan. This document also adapts the IASC Guidance Note to the specifics of the FSC.
The Light Guidance provides an overview of the FSC country teams' roles in advancing the HDPN approach and suggests key actions for each outcome within the HDPN pillar of the Strategic Plan.
Given that the HDPN component is new in some contexts and may require adjustments, we consider this guidance a "living" document.
