Food Security that Protects Children

On 28 May 2026, humanitarian actors, representatives of Permanent Missions, UN agencies, NGOs, donors, researchers gathered at FAO Headquarters in Rome for the advocacy event “Food Security that Protects Children: Managing Risk, Delivering Impact: Integrating Child Protection and Advancing the Centrality of Protection in Humanitarian Action.”

The event was co-hosted by the Global Food Security Cluster (gFSC), the Global Protection Cluster (GPC) and Plan International, with support from the Joining Forces for Food Security and Child Protection in Emergencies (JF-FS&CPiE) project, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO). The report includes also relevant links to recent publications and collaboration between Food Security and Child protection.
