From the IPC of October 2021, 1,15 million people were at risk of being food insecure and in need of food assistance and protection of livelihoods, including 157,238 people in emergency situations (IPC phase 4) and 997,423 in crisis (IPC phase 3). Nine areas are assessed in crisis, in particular Lebialem and Ndian, part of the South-West Region, where the gap in term of assistance was 99% in 2021.
