As of July 2018, FSS partners have assisted almost 1.7 million individuals with agriculture and livelihood interventions in the three most affected north-east states of Nigeria. Against the 2018 HRP target for Strategic Objective 2 (Agriculture and Livelihood), in July, sector partners have reached 55% of the target (2.9 million individuals to be assisted by the end of December 2018). The largest gap identified is in Yobe State with approximately 0.5 million beneficiaries not reached; in Adamawa State, 0.4 million people were not reached; and Borno State recorded a total of 0.3 million individuals not reached during the reporting period. The number of population assisted with agriculture and livelihoods has gradually increased as partners completed their rainy season distribution campaigns and started their dry season activity planning.
