As of May 2018, FSS partners have been able to assist about 1.5 million individuals with agriculture and livelihood interventions in the three most affected north-east states of Nigeria. Against the 2018 HRP target for Strategic Objective 2 (Agriculture and Livelihood), in May, sector partners have reached 52% of the target (2.9 million individuals to be assisted by the end of December 2018). Adamawa and Yobe States have the largest gap approximately over 1 million beneficiaries have not been reached so far, while in Borno state, 339,000 people were not reached. However, it is anticipated that the number of population assisted will significantly increase as partners continue the ongoing rainy season distribution campaign to support food production.
