During June 2018, the FSS partners assisted more than 2.1 million individuals with food assistance (through in-kind distribution or cash transfers) in the three most affected north-east states of Nigeria. Against the 2018 HRP target for Strategic Objective 1 (Food Assistance) target, in June, sector partners have reached 57% of the monthly target (3.7 million individuals to be assisted monthly). The largest gap identified is in Adamawa State with approximately 0.8 million beneficiaries not reached; in Yobe State, 0.6 million people were not reached. Borno State recorded the lowest gap of 0.2 million, however, needs remain high at lower administrative/settlement levels.
