During April 2018, the FSS partners assisted more than 2.6 million individuals with food assistance (through in-kind distribution or cash based transfers) in the three most affected north-east states of Nigeria. Against the 2018 HRP target for Strategic Objective1 (Food Assistance) target, in April, sector partners have reached 70% of the target (3.7 million individuals to be assisted monthly). The largest gap identified is in Adamawa state with approximately 0.8 million beneficiaries not reached, while in Yobe state, 0.6 million people were not reached. Borno state recorded no cumulative gap, however, needs are still present at lower administrative levels and sites/camps.
